USDA Announces Application Deadline for Conservation Stewardship Program Renewal Contracts

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, February 27, 2020 – Participants enrolled in the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) with contracts that expire in 2020 are encouraged to meet with their local USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) office to discuss options to renew the contracts for a second five-year term. The deadline to apply for a renewal contract is March 20, 2020. A separate application deadline will be announced for the regular CSP signup. NRCS accepts applications year-round from agricultural producers who have established farm records with the Farm Service Agency (FSA).

Ag Producers Should Take Advantage of Federal Program Assistance by March 27th, 2020 Sign up Deadline

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., February 28, 2020  — The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), Assistant State Conservationist for Programs Kenneth Branch, announced today that a sign up for fiscal year 2020 Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is underway.  All New Mexico agricultural producers who would like to be considered for financial assistance under general EQIP or special conservation initiatives need to apply by Tuesday, March 27, 2020.

NRCS New Mexico Announces the Application Deadline for Agricultural Conservation Easement Program Funding for Fiscal Year 2020

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, February 27, 2020 –The Unites States Department of 

Agriculture’s (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has set April 17,

2020, as the application deadline for ACEP-ALE and ACEP-WRE for New Mexico. The

Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) aids landowners and eligible

entities with conserving, restoring and protecting wetlands, productive agricultural lands

and grasslands. NRCS accepts ACEP applications year-round, but applications are 

ranked and funded by enrollment periods that are set by each state.
